The Knitting Room was established by Carrie and Brendan Kavanagh in 2012. Carrie has previously tutored in a wide variety of crafts to both adults and children and the Knitting Room is a natural extension of this business. 

 

One of the main concepts of the Knitting Room shop was to create a social and friendly environment in which to enjoy knitting, sewing and a variety of other crafts. The Knitting Room has grown out of her kitchen table where a like minded large group of women gathered on a regular basis to enjoy a cuppa and work on their knitting or sewing projects.
